Exhibitions
I’ve transformed research on virtually every era of Irish history into engaging copy to guide visitors through complex historical concepts. I’ve also written dozens of exhibitions on the natural world, lighthouses, archaeology, football, culture and other subjects. My first exhibition was the award-winning Century of Memories, celebrating Belfast’s City Hall’s centenary. I have just finished three high-profile exhibitions, more information to follow. Here are just a few highlights…
World War One
Between 2014 and 2018 I wrote the copy for an evolving four-year exhibition, World War Ireland: Exploring the Irish Experience.
A Tandem Design project for the National Library of Ireland.

Great Lighthouses Project
Around the Irish coast historic lighthouses are being converted for visitors. I wrote copy for exhibitions at Fanad Lighthouse in Donegal, Blackhead in Antrim and West Lighthouse on Rathlin Island. The interactive exhibitions explored the stories of the keepers and their families, the building of the lighthouses and the natural worlds around them.

The history of Limerick from ancient times onwards was the focus of this comprehensive exhibition – the first Mesolithic settlers, Vikings, Anglo-Normans, the siege that transformed Irish history, Elizabethan rebellions, Cromwell’s retribution, Georgian glory and Limerick Lace. Over 50,000 items make up this remarkable collection.
